Carol is a 66 year old Grandma who is raising her four grand kids whose ages range from 12-18 on a mere $700/month. Their living quarters are meager and they have to double up on rooms and the couch to have a place to sleep at night.

Carol has been living with cancer and arthritis, and just last year she was also diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has a heart of gold and only asks for food when she has no where else to turn.

Christmas of 2011 we gave Brittany and Tyler bicycles that Bill purchased at a pawn shop and my son did the tune-ups on them. The kids were thrilled. Now Tyler uses his bike for transportation to and from his part-time job he works to help his Grandma and sibblings survive.
